General Summary:
In accord with the 91ɬÂþ Mission Statement and College Vision, the Division of Natural Resources seeks to hire a hydrology instructor with fisheries experience in applied hydrological measurements, fluvial processes, general fisheries biology and hydrological and fisheries management tools for natural and cultural resource management for tribal organizations.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Hydrology Instructor

Modify or develop courses and curriculum in AS and BS programs.

Teach classes on groundwater hydrology, soil science, introductory geology, and data visualization and analysis, in AS, BS, (and potentially) MS programs.

Work with other faculty in Natural Resources to bridge curriculum for inclusion in classes across all-natural resource fields/departments.

Serve on graduate research committees and closely advise undergraduate and graduate students conducting research in related fields.

Minimum Qualifications:

General Summary:

Minimum Qualifications:
The nursing lab instructor will hold a minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited nursing program and an accredited college. A Master of Science in Nursing degree is preferred. Experience with lab instruction program is preferred. Active in professional organizations related to nursing education is preferred.
The nursing skills lab instructor shall hold an unencumbered, active license as a Registered Nurse in Montana or be eligible to apply for one via reciprocity from another state. Nursing lab instructor will possess a clear background check.

The 91ɬÂþ Native American Studies department is seeking one full time faculty member for a 9month position teaching courses in the Native American Studies with emphasis on Tribal Governance and Administration program. Candidates must have successfully earned a minimum of a Master’s Degree or equivalency in a related field. Preference will be given to candidates who have focused their studies on issues related to American Indian peoples, the Confederated Salish, Pend d’Oreille, and Kootenai Tribes, and tribes of Montana. Candidates will be required to meet all of the general duties of full-time instructors at 91ɬÂþ, as well as other assignments as needed.
Major Duties and Responsibilities

Plan, prepare and develop course materials such as course curriculum, assignments, textbook selection, syllabi and materials that are place- and community-based, as well as culturally sustaining and revitalizing for both in class and on-line course delivery.

Review and revise curricula, course content, course materials, and methods of instruction in accordance with SKC mission and goals and the 4Cs.

General Summary:
The Housing Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the maintenance, safety, and overall functionality of SKC Student Housing facilities and its surrounding areas. This position performs general building maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of housing units, dormitories, and common areas to ensure a safe and well-maintained living environment for residents. This role functions as an equal member of the Housing Maintenance team and operates under the direct supervision of the Director of Housing. This position is not supervisory in nature and is expected to work efficiently and collaboratively within a team-based environment while maintaining accountability for individual assigned tasks.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain SKC Student Housing properties including; the laundry facilities, shared commons, dorms, housing units, storage units, maintenance office, and minor grounds maintenance (general pick up of garbage/trash).

Complete repairs to maintain SKC Housing properties in good repair, which may include appliance repair, plumbing, electrical, furniture, painting, drywall, and floor repair.

Work efficiently and effectively as an equal member of the Housing Maintenance team, collaborating with other maintenance technicians and staff to ensure timely completion of work orders and assignments.

Complete Dorm(s) and unit inspections during the move-in/move-out process and at request ensuring complete and accurate documentation of findings.

At least two years of progressive professional experience administering or managing multi-site or national student internship programs, coordinating student workforce pathways, or comparable program development/management experience.

Demonstrated experience working with tribal organizations and national tribal bodies (e.g., Inter Tribal Timber Council), tribal, federal, and state natural resource agencies, and research networks.

Demonstrated experience facilitating and building coalitions or networks that support student employment pathways.

Experience working within a tribal college/university or other Indigenous-serving institution.

Demonstrated experience or collaborative efforts with outreach/recruitment and grant, philanthropic, or partnership funding to grow program capacity.

Strong interpersonal, cross-cultural, and written communication skills; experience working with Indigenous communities and culturally responsive practices.

Demonstrated ability to convene partners, build collaborative agreements (MOUs), and manage placement relationships with external hosts.

Supervisory experience and demonstrated ability to manage staff and student employees.

Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Must have knowledge of post-secondary institutions, financial aid and student advising skills.

Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Proven competencies with computers, preferably with Networks and Teleconferencing, Internet, E-mail, and Microsoft Office expertise.

Must be familiar with issues encountered by students in rural areas and the socioeconomic challenges, employment barriers, and diversity-related needs of Native Americans.
Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree or PhD in Forestry, Wildland Fire, or a closely related Natural Resources field preferred.

Prior experience working with the Intertribal Timber Council or similar tribal governance bodies.

Proven project, program, and grant management skills (budgeting, fiscal oversight, reporting, compliance).

Documented success in grant-writing and securing federal, foundation, and philanthropic funding.

Demonstrated experience with recruitment, outreach, and marketing to diverse national audiences.

Experience designing training curricula, mentoring programs, and student supports.

Experience working with Student Support Services/TRIO, postsecondary educational student services, or other similar educational programs for adults in career services or career planning.

Experience with the Montana Career Information system (MCIS).

Proficiency with office productivity software, program tracking systems, data collection tools, and basic fundraising/CRM platforms.
Working Conditions

Standard office and field conditions; regular travel nationally for partner meetings, conferences, internship site visits, recruitment, and fundraising presentations.

Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for events, outreach, and deadlines.
